MOLI announced today its first Starving Artist Contest to give artists an opportunity to feature their best work on MOLI and possibly win one month's rent. Two lucky winners will also be featured on MOLI's homepage for one week and have a feature article written about them and their art for the MOLI View, the site's professional content channel. Artists from all disciplines: fine arts, digital art, music, writing and photography are eligible. Two winners will be chosen: People's Choice, based on total votes received by entries; and Judge's Choice, selected by a panel of professional celebrity judges. The contest will pay the artist's rent for one month; maximum prize is $2,000 U.S. or 1,000 U.K. pounds Sterling per winner. The contest will run through April 15, 2008.
