LIFE AFTER PEOPLE garnered the biggest audience for any program ever on The History Channel® and was the top show on all of cable when it premiered Monday night, January 21st at 9pm ET/PT. The two-hour special, which looks through history’s lens to provide clues to what would happen if humans vanished from the earth, was watched by 5.4 million total viewers and earned a 3.9 household rating, the highest ever for The History Channel.

This is a great example of how we are dimensionalizing history to make it more active, immersive and personal. In addition, Life After People scored 2.7 million Adult 25-54 viewers and 2.8 million Adult 18-49 viewers, both also tops for the night in cable.
