My Damn Channel (www.MyDamnChannel.com), an entertainment studio and new media platform created to empower artists to co-produce, distribute and monetize original, episodic video content, today announced a content partnership with MySpace, the country's most trafficked website. My Damn Channel content will be available for the MySpace community and MySpaceTV viewers (http://myspacetv.com/) on a dedicated video channel at www.myspace.com/MyDamnChannel. Today's announcement comes on the heels of explosive video growth driven by dozens of industry content partnerships and user interface changes.
The new branded channel will feature original content from venerable comedian/political satirist Harry Shearer ("The Simpsons," "This is Spinal Tap"); renowned music producer Don Was (The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan); independent comic filmmaker David Wain ("Wet Hot American Summer," "The Ten"); and Web phenom Andy Milonakis ("The Andy Milonakis Show," MTV).
"Our MySpace partnership adds broader exposure and more revenue opportunities for our artists," said Rob Barnett, President and CEO of My Damn Channel. "We're signing more talent and launching new original channels including Hot Mental Freedom, an interactive platform for user-generated content and the Andy Milonakis channel, giving viewers a warped vacation from reality."
Andy Milonakis Channel Premieres
Mr. Milonakis has contributed several segments to My Damn Channel since the 7/31 launch. Andy will bring his weekly madness to My Damn Channel, premiering Wednesday, 9/12. The first new video features Andy pondering the afterlife and the credentials for getting into heaven. Andy Milonakis quickly became an online phenomenon with the release of his home webcam recordings, freestyle rap and videos. He has appeared in feature films ("Waiting," "Who's Your Caddy"), and on television, including his own series, "The Andy Milonakis Show" on MTV.
"I wanted my own 'Damn channel' because it's a way to show that a real company is vouching for my weird insane mind. It makes me feel less crazy," Milonakis said. "Also, I like creating unique things. Some don't make sense, some might leave people feeling disturbed, but I have my own home for it and if people don't like it they can get the #%!$ out of my house."
Hot Mental Freedom
Hot Mental Freedom is My Damn Channel's answer to user-generated content. Each week, the channel will issue a challenge inviting the community to show off their mental chops. Harry Shearer - The Silent Debates

David Wain - Wainy Days
This week marks the premiere of the seventh of ten short-film comedies chronicling David's worst dates. In "The Bank," love doesn't come for free, so David finds an unusual source for money. Don Was - Wasmopolitan Cavalcade of Recorded Music
Don Was drives the premiere music destination on My Damn Channel. Every week, Don puts his personal iPod into action on an eclectic radio show called "Radio Was: The Party Shuffle Show." Don also delivers a weekly video blog and produces music exclusively for My Damn Channel. All new songs are available as free MP3 downloads. Every recording session is filmed for the site, giving viewers a rare glimpse inside the studio. Unlike most music videos, you witness the actual recording of the tracks without overdubs, beach balls, or bad actors. This week, Don premieres new music from Sweet Pea Atkinson. Sweet Pea is a soul singer and charter member of Was (Not) Was and has recorded with Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan and Lyle Lovett. Don Was and My Damn Channel will also launch an exclusive new performance series next week featuring artists filmed live in unique locations.
