MTV News & Docs presents new episodes to feature “True Life: I’m Pregnant,” “True Life: I Stutter,” “True Life: I’m Supporting My Family,” “True Life: I’m Having a Summer Romance” and “True Life: I’m The New Kid In Town.”
· “True Life: I’m Pregnant − What causes nausea, weight gain, volatile mood swings, even indescribable joy and is certain to change your life forever…Pregnancy. On this True Life you’ll meet two young women experiencing all the excitement, pain, and upheaval that impending motherhood can bring.
· “True Life: I Stutter” – Imagine how difficult life would be if you had trouble introducing yourself at a party, calling to order a pizza, or simply asking for directions. An estimated three million Americans stutter and have difficulty doing these tasks. In this episode of True Life, you’ll meet three young people trying to overcome their problems with speech just so they can lead normal lives.
· “True Life: I’m Supporting My Family” − Whether caused by a parent’s untimely death, serious illness or abandonment, each year many young people suddenly find themselves responsible for the welfare of their younger siblings. In this episode of True Life, we follow two young women who are struggling to support their families. Will they find a way to feed, clothe and house their siblings? Or will their families fall apart?
· “True Life: I’m Having a Summer Romance” − What’s it like to fall in love when you know it could all be over in a few months? In this episode of True Life, we'll follow two couples involved in summer relationships who are trying to find ways to make the romance last beyond Labor Day.
· “True Life: I’m The New Kid In Town” − How does one handle beingWhat's it like to be forced to pack up your belongings, say goodbye to all of your friends and move halfway around the world? We follow 15-year-old Grace as she and her family move from suburban Connecticut to rural New Zealand. Find out if this wealthy doctor's daughter finds a way to fit in among the sheep farmers' kids
