Signed Original Works by Salvador Dali, Francis C. Jones, Jackson Pollock and Pablo Picasso are Available for Live Online Bidding at Proxibid


Proxibid, a premier provider of live auction broadcasting services, today announced that it will provide live auction Webcasts for two high profile auctions slated to take place on Oct. 31. United Country Beloit Auction & Realty of Beloit, Wis., and Little Mountain Auctions of Little Mountain, S.C., have selected Proxibid to provide live online bidding for their auctions, which feature signed, original works by Salvador Dali, Francis C. Jones, Jackson Pollock, Pablo Picasso and others.


Online bidding for the United Country Beloit Auction & Realty event will begin at 4:30 p.m. CDT. This auction features more than 300 lots of fine art, antiques and collectibles. Bidders will be able to win original oils by Jackson Pollock as well as lithographs by Dali, Calder, Miro, Cezanne and others from the comfort of their home or office computer. Hot lots for this auction include:


* Lot 23 -- Jackson Pollock signed oil painting 65"x 44"
* Lot 24 -- Jackson Pollock signed oil painting 16"x16"
* Lot 25 -- Jackson Pollock signed oil painting 16"x16"
* Lot 111 -- Francis C Jones (1857-1932) Oil on canvas "Boy and Girl Fishing" 30"x36"
* Lot 221 -- Salvador Dali original etching "Don Quixote" 7"x5" with Certificate of Authenticity

"The Pollock pieces, in particular, are generating lots of excitement. They come from a very astute and prominent art collector and I am honored to be able to offer these and other pieces to online bidders."


At 7:00 p.m. EDT, bidders will have the opportunity to participate in another exciting auction hosted by Little Mountain Auctions. More than 100 pieces of fine art will be available for live online bidding during this auction. Serious collectors will not want to miss the opportunity to win signed original works by Salvador Dali, Peter Max and Pablo Picasso, as well as many other well-known artists. Auction highlights include:


* Lot 38 -- "Sage With Flowers" by Peter Max -- Signed With Certificate of Authenticity. Mixed Media with acrylic painting and collage on paper.
* Lot 45 -- "Indigo Chapeau" by Itzchak Tarkay. Seriolithograph in color on paper, signed.
* Lot 51: "The Proud One, Purgatory II" By Salvador Dali -- Signed With Certificate Of Authenticity. Wood-Engraving in Color on Rives Paper after a watercolor -- Signed in the Block with Certificate of Authenticity & Appraisal.
* Lot 59 -- Original Etching by Pablo Picasso. It measures approximately 11 1/4" by 14" framed. -- Authenticated by the Societe de Verification de la Nouvelle Gravure Internationale of New York & Paris.
