THE PERFECT WEDDING - - AT WHAT COST DO YOU SAY “I DO”?

Everyone dreams of having a fairytale wedding, but when planning meets financial realities, is it still possible to have the perfect wedding? In each hour long episode of the popular series Rich Bride Poor Bride, a wedding planner works with a couple to create their dream wedding within the confines of their budget. Joining WE tv’s lineup of innovative, entertaining wedding programming such as Bridezillas and Platinum Weddings, the 13-episode series returns for its second season on Sunday, December 9 at 8pm ET/7c on WE tv. Rich Bride, Poor Bride: Your Ultimate Wedding Planning Guide, the book based on the series, is available in stores January 2008.

On this season of Rich Bride Poor Bride, eight wedding planners try to make the dreams of 13 couples come true given both small and large budgets. Together they tackle many wild and wacky wedding requests, from wrestling- themed nuptials to a modern Gothic affair, from an over-the-top winter wonderland to a celebration with royal-style. Viewers get inside the inherent drama, as decision-making and differing opinions causes tension to mount, while the planner acts as counselor and referee, handling crisis’s, control freaks and mother-in-laws. Will these wedding planners be able to please both bride and groom and balance the budget? Find out at the end of every episode when the featured couple sits down in an interview, (a la the famous “When Harry Met Sally” couch interviews) breaking down each item of their wedding and tallying up the costs and grand total.
