On the tenth anniversary of Lady Diana Spencer, Princess of Wales' death, the creator of the Pope and Angela Merkel doll, Marcel Offermann of the Dolls Clinic in Neuss and Oldenburg, releases the "Lady Diana doll" onto the market in honour of Lady Diana.
Like the other "celebrities", this doll is produced by the traditional Schildkröt-Puppen company. This collector's doll is limited to 999 specimens worldwide. It is 46 cm tall, has sleeping eyes and a wig of real hair. The dress, made of pure silk, is a copy of an original example. Diana wore it just short of three months before her death at a photo session with Mario Testino in Kensington Palace. The Lady Diana doll is priced at EUR 189, including a numbered certificate and insured delivery (plus EUR 20 for UK destinations).
Part of the proceeds are channelled to the official Diana Foundation, chaired by Diana's sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
This unique collector's item is available worldwide exclusively via the Internet shop www.deutsche-klassiker.de.
