SIDEWINDER gets 'Supporting' Role in Discovery Channel Production

Airtrax, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: AITX) , a developer of patented Omni-Directional Technology with military and commercial applications, today announced that it has entered into two Trade Out Agreements with Beyond Productions Pty Ltd., an Australian company that is co-producing a new TV series with the Discovery Channel entitled Prototype This. The thirteen part series is scheduled to air on the Discovery Channel beginning in August 2007.

The first agreement calls for the SIDEWINDER(TM) to be used on camera for the construction of the various prototypes featured in the series. The SIDEWINDER will be organically included into the filming of as many of the thirteen episodes as the show's producers deem logical to do so. Additionally, Airtrax will be recognized with 'Special Thanks' in the program credits. According to the terms of the second agreement, Airtrax will provide its Omni-Directional Technology for use in an imaginative prototype that will be the featured build in one of the episodes. The Company will also provide a guest build team to work on set together with the show's hosts to complete the project.

Every hour long episode of Prototype This will chronicle a team of inventors and engineers as they attempt to create a futuristic device using today's technology. Each week, the builders will attempt to incorporate two current technologies into an invention that may solve an everyday problem or fulfill an unmet need. The inventions may not necessarily represent something a corporation would want to manufacture for the marketplace; the goal is to achieve a proof of concept. Prototype This stars Andrew "Zoz" Brooks, Joe Grand, Kevin Binkert, Michael "North" Northen, and Terry Sandin.

Nicholas Fenelli, Airtrax's chief operating officer, stated, "This is an incredible opportunity for Airtrax. I had been searching for a product placement opportunity for the SIDEWINDER to put our Omni-Directional Technology and its potential uses in front of millions of people. When this venue was presented to me it seemed a perfect fit. Not to just appear in a broadcast, but to have our technology featured, was more than I had hoped for."

Mr. Fenelli continued, "While the show's hosts have definitely brought 'thinking outside of the box' to a whole new level with their audacious build concept, I must admit, it was great fun working with them as a member of the guest build team during the filming of the episode involving Airtrax. The premise of the episode dovetails perfectly with our mission to bring about the adoption of Omni-Directional Technology."
