LOS ANGELES--Orbit(R) gum, the nation's No. 1 selling chewing gum brand(a) from the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company (NYSE:WWY), cleaned up some of Hollywood's dirtiest mouths today at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards by recognizing actors Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith during the "Orbit Dirtiest Mouth Moment."

In a pre-taped segment aired during the live telecast, Vanessa Branch, Orbit's stylish ambassador of clean, presented Mewes and Smith with MTV's signature Golden Bucket of Popcorn and a life-time supply of Orbit to clean up their dirty mouth roles as "Jay and Silent Bob" in Clerks II.

Leading up to the June 3rd broadcast, nominees for the Orbit Dirtiest Mouth Moment were available online at orbit.mtv.com, where viewers were invited to choose their favorite dirty mouth scene in need of cleaning up. In addition to Clerks II, this year's four nominees included Steve-O for his role in Jackass Number Two, Ryan Reynolds, Alicia Keyes and Common for their roles in Smokin' Aces and Dax Shepard and Efren Ramirez for their roles in Employee of the Month.
