Ernan A. Norman, D. Min., helps readers learn to reach lost souls in the post-modern secular world through understanding and innovative strategy in his new book, "A Strategy for Reaching Secular People: The Intentional Church in a Post-Modern World" (published by AuthorHouse).
"This book is written with the focus of providing an understanding of secularization on the lives of men and women in today's world - 21st-century culture," Norman writes.
"This book is replete with sound biblical and practical strategic planning ideas that are practicable in the context of the intentional church," Norman says. "This book is on the cutting edge of what it would take for the Church to be intentional in every possible way to engage, influence, reach and baptize secular, post-modern people for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and nurture and disciple them for the Kingdom of God. Get the book and read and study, and by the wisdom and assisting grace of God, reach the lost."
Norman has been a minister of the gospel with the Seventh-day Adventist Church for more than 26 years. He has been actively involved as a pastor, evangelist and disciple in both the United States and the Caribbean. He holds a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Mich. He currently serves as an assistant professor of theology and religion at Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, Mass., where he teaches a class titled "Witnessing to the Secular Mind." "A Strategy for Reaching Secular People" is his first book.
