Beloved Emmy Winner Stars in Four Sharply Funny Films Along with Co-Stars Kirk Douglas, James Woods, Nancy Travis and Phil Hartman, 'Michael J. Fox Comedy Favorites Collection'

One of America's most endearing comic actors stars in a quartet of laugh-out-loud comedies when the "Michael J. Fox Comedy Favorites Collection" comes to DVD on May 15, 2007 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Fox appears opposite Hollywood heavyweight Kirk Douglas, fellow Emmy(R) winner James Woods ("Shark"), Nancy Travis ("The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"), Phil Hartman ("NewsRadio") and Gabrielle Anwar ("Crazy Eights") in four clever comedies by acclaimed directors Barry Sonnenfeld ("Men in Black"), Jonathan Lynn ("The Whole Nine Yards"), Herb Ross ("Footloose") and John Badham ("Stakeout"). The collection, which includes "The Secret of My Success," "The Hard Way," "For Love or Money" and "Greedy," showcases Fox's boyish charm and sly wit at its comedic peak.

Spot-on comic timing and self-effacing charm have made Michael J. Fox one of the most beloved actors of his generation. An audience favorite since his Emmy(R)-winning portrayal of Alex P. Keaton on the enormously popular TV series "Family Ties," Fox is one of only a handful of performers who are equally at home -- and commercially successful -- on the large and small screens. The DVD is priced at $29.98 SRP.

"The Hard Way"

Michael J. Fox and James Woods make an uproarious odd couple in this action-adventure from director John Badham. In search of motivation for his next role, wealthy action star Nick Lang (Fox) pulls strings so he can follow an NYPD detective around for two weeks. Hardboiled New York cop John Moss (Woods) needs a spoiled Hollywood sidekick like he needs a hole in his head. The wisecracks fly as this mismatched pair tries to bring a ruthless serial killer to justice.

"The Secret of My Success"

Fresh-faced college grad Brantley Foster (Fox) comes to New York City to conquer the business world but instead finds himself in the corporate mailroom. Determined to make it to the top in record time, Brantley commandeers an empty office and masquerades as a new employee. His romantic feelings for beautiful executive Christy Wills (Helen Slater) are derailed when he attracts the amorous advances of the boss's wife. Keeping his real identity under wraps gets harder and harder in this madcap comedy of errors from director Herb Ross.

"For Love or Money"

Hotel concierge Douglas Ireland (Fox) dreams of owning his own luxury palace and he's finally met the rich investor who could make it happen. All he has to do is spend a couple of days looking after the investor's beautiful and naive young mistress, Andy (Gabrielle Anwar). That's easier said than done, as Doug finds himself falling in love with Andy in this delightful romantic comedy from director Barry Sonnenfeld and producer Brian Grazer.

"Greedy"

Kirk Douglas stars as Joe McTeague, a wheelchair-bound millionaire who keeps his sycophantic relatives groveling with the promise of a big inheritance. When Joe hires a gold-digging, live-in nurse (Olivia D'Abo), the family panics and calls in do-gooder nephew Daniel (Fox) to win back Joe's favor with his lofty principles -- and a hilarious Jimmy Durante impression. Unfortunately, Daniel finds it difficult to hold onto his values in the face of all that dough. Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel, the writers of "Parenthood" and "City Slickers," penned this wickedly funny comedy which also stars Nancy Travis, Phil Hartman, Ed Begley, Jr. and Khandi Alexander.
