DMGI to Offer Video Content Through Amazon Unbox

Digital Music Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:DMGI) , a content owner and global leader in the digital distribution of independently owned music, television, film and video catalogs, today announced it will begin offering its television and film content through Amazon Unbox (http://www.amazon.com/unbox). The Amazon Unbox video download service, which launched in September 2006, offers thousands of movies, television shows and other videos for download to PCs and any Windows Media Video-compatible portable device.

"We are very excited to be working with Amazon.com," said Mitchell Koulouris, Chief Executive Officer of DMGI. "Amazon.com is a leading online retailer, and we are particularly pleased to add Amazon Unbox to our expanding set of video channel distributors. This agreement will help bring DMGI's quality video content to the millions of loyal Amazon customers around the world."

DMGI currently controls the digital distribution rights to more than 4,000 hours of video content, ranging from classic television favorites such as "Gumby," "I Spy," "My Favorite Martian," and "The Mr. Bill Show" to comedy from Sam Kinison, Andrew Dice Clay, and Jamie Foxx, to contemporary content from superstar illusionist Criss Angel.

Amazon Unbox is the latest in a growing list of digital video services added to the DMGI distribution network that includes YouTube, the iTunes Store, Google Video, and In2TV, among others. DMGI is planning to make its video catalog available to Amazon Unbox starting in the summer of 2007.
