New York, November 29, 2006 – Cameron Diaz barely acknowledged reporters at Wednesday’s premiere of The Holiday, the movie in which she swaps houses with Kate Winslets character. The famously media unfriendly Diaz even got snippy when the big gun TV shows that she did grace with her presence asked who she’d like to swap houses with in real life. Because, you know, she’d been asked that question so many times that day. Life is a heartache.
While Diaz went brunette, Kate Winslet had her hair tied in a knot at the nape, and at first glance, everyone thought she’d cut it short! After all, Kate is British, and bobbed hair is a big trend over in the U.K., set off by Victoria Beckham’s recent shearing. In fact, the Brits have dubbed the look a “Pob” – for Posh’s bob. (See what you learn here on OAN?) We’ll call Winslet’s a “quasi-Pob”.
