Los Angeles, November 16, 2006 – Hollywood & Highland was the sexiest place on earth on Thursday. While the Victoria’s Secret fashion show was taking place inside the Kodak Theatre, Pamela Anderson was in the adjacent shopping center signing copies of the newly released Baywatch DVD. Somehow, the VS people didn’t get that memo – they had Anderson listed as a guest at the fashion show. While folks walked the VS red carpet, we nipped over for a quick photo op with Pam. And quick it was: after a few moments, Anderson, who recently miscarried, placed her hand on her belly, and said that she had to go.
Nicole Richie, Kristen Cavallari, Alyssa Milano, Stacy Keibler and Ciara did show up at the VS show, as did Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz, who recently revealed that he chooses girlfriends with whom he can share clothing. He probably wanted to find some new lingerie to wear under his girl jeans.
This sure was a mainstream event for “anti-corporate” rockers The Kills to attend; at least Jamie “Hotel” Hince was chain smoking, a deviant act in L.A. We didn’t catch up with The Kills after the show, to see how they enjoyed Justin Timberlake’s performance.
