Kathy Ireland, CEO and Chief Designer, Kathy Ireland Worldwide, awarded Lorena Ochoa, winner of The Mitchell Company LPGA Tournament of Champions Presented by Kathy Ireland Worldwide, a matching suite of jewelry hand selected from the Kathy Ireland Jewelry Exclusively for House of Taylor Jewelry collection. The Jewelry was a surprise gift for Lorena, who also received $150,000 for her first place finish.
Kathy presented Lorena, 25, with diamond and fresh water pearl earrings and a fresh water pearl necklace set in 18-karat gold in honor of her win and being named the LPGA Player of the Year. "This tournament celebrates the spirit of women in sports. Every player was outstanding and Lorena deserves to be champion.
