Pregnant pop princess Britney Spears posed nude for the cover of the August issue of 'Harper's Bazaar.' In addition to the cover shot of Spears wearing no clothes and showing almost all of her body, there is a photo spread inside the magazine featuring the singer without any clothes.
Spears barely covers her breasts with her hands on the cover and crosses her legs to allow her protruding belly to cover other private parts. Photographer Alexi Lubomirski snapped the picture of the smiling Spears.
The headline reads, 'Nothing to wear? 487 Best new ideas inside.'
Spears, 24, and her husband, dancer Kevin Federline, already have one son, Sean Preston, born in September. The singer told David Letterman she was pregnant with the couple's second child, ending tabloid speculation that Spears was pregnant again.
This is the first ever nude cover for 'Harper's.' The photo shoot took place one week ago while the singer was in the sixth month of her pregnancy.
'Harper's' released a statement saying Spears was 'never more beautiful' than she was during the cover shoot. The magazine said, 'Since word leaked out about the shoot on Monday, people have been desperate to get their hands on the exclusive photos which were posted on various Web sites without permission from the magazine.'
As a result, the photos were released to the media today.
Spears is best known for songs like 'Oops, I Did It Again.' She has frequent complaints about articles in the tabloids about her marriage and mothering skills and the paparazzi that follow her every move.
