Anaheim, CA, June 24, 2006 – Saturday night was not the best time to visit Disneyland, since they closed the theme park at 5:00 P.M. to make room for the premiere of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest". It’s a Disney picture, after all, and they presented the film to the world right at its birthplace – the Pirates of the Caribbean amusement ride. Heartwarming, no?
The ridiculously good looking stars, Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, each signed autographs for such a long time that this may have been the longest premiere in history. An eclectic group of celebs – from Helen Mirren to Kevin Dillon to Marilyn Manson to Arnold Schwarzenegger - made the trek out to Disneyland for the premiere. Depp’s girlfriend, Vanessa Paradis, and their children came early and shied away from the red carpet. We didn’t spot Bloom’s lady Kate Bosworth.
