SILVERDOCS: AFI/Discovery Channel Documentary Festival presents the World Premiere of 21 UP AMERICA by Christopher Quinn, fresh from his Sundance dual Jury and Audience Awards for GOD GREW TIRED OF US.

Executive produced by Michael Apted and inspired by his seminal 7 UP films, this is the third
installment in a series that has recorded the same subjects at ages 7 and 14 and now turns
its focus on what it is to be 21 in America today. It provides a provocative and engaging case study of the impact race and class have on hopes for the future. All the film subjects will be in attendance seeing the film together for the first time and participating in a post-screening discussion with NPR host Juan Williams.
