The New Paris Hilton Fragrance: Untitled

New York, June 14, 2006 – Kathy and Rick Hilton threw a party at Le Cirque to welcome daughter Paris’ new fragrance into the world, but we couldn’t get any of them to divulge the scent’s name; they’re saving that until the formal launch on Friday at Macy’s. But of all of her daughter’s many endeavors, mama Hilton is most thrilled about Paris’ newly-hatched music career: “I was driving down Sunset Blvd. the other day, and it was my first time hearing it on the radio, and I was like…I had tears in my eyes, thinking, ‘If my mother could only be here to hear this she’d be so proud’”.

Kathy reminisced about Paris putting on shows around the house while growing up, and said that her favorite costume was The Little Mermaid. “She would wear this Little Mermaid Disney costume, with the ratty long hair, and I would be embarrassed – we’d go shopping to the market, and she would want to wear it. And I would be like, “Paris, this is not going to happen”. But Paris knew what she wanted, even as a child. “’I like it mommy!’ You know, she was like eight years old. So she’d wear this ratty old wig.”

At the party, Kathy surprised Paris with a gift, a working microphone embedded with Swarovski crystals.

Although she managed to keep the perfume’s name under wraps, Kathy accidentally let slip some news about Nicky Hilton. “Nicky’s busy with her hotels. She’s working on two hotels right now, one in Chicago and one in Miami. Oh, I don’t know if I’m supposed to say that!” These are Hilton hotels, right? “No.” Um, OK.
