New York, July 19, 2006 – The Victoria’s Secret press release touted a concert by “the ultimate PINK girl”, who is apparently Ashlee Simpson. (The singer Pink must be kind of freaked out, no?) Pink was the theme of the evening dubbed the world’s largest pajama party, with Pier 54 in Manhattan strewn with pink fleece blankets, throw pillows and stuffed dogs, and a screening of chick flick "Pretty in Pink" after the performance.

The pink carpet looked especially, er, pink, when Ashlee Simpson’s big black SUVs drove on it. Yep, Ashlee and her entourage made a grand entrance behind tinted windows, and one of the SUVs hit the railing, so that was fun.

Ashlee is one lucky girl. She’s working with Victoria’s Secret, and it didn’t rain during her outdoor concert. Oh, and those fireworks in the background in the photo? A coincidence. The fireworks show was somewhere further downtown.

But where was Jessica? Ashlee’s sister was nowhere to be found.
