The two children adopted by actress Angelina Jolie have a new addition to their names after a ruling by California Superior Court Judge Linda Lefkowitz. Lefkowitz granted the application of Jolie and her boyfriend, Brad Pitt to have 'Pitt' added to the childrens' surnames.
The children are now legally Maddox Jolie-Pitt and Zahara Jolie-Pitt. The change was granted because Pitt intends to become the adoptive father of the two children.
Jolie is pregnant with Pitt's child. The couple met while co-starring in the film 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' last year. Shortly thereafter, Pitt's marriage to 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston came to an end.
There is still no word from either Pitt or Jolie if they intend to get married. Publicists for both refused to comment when discussing the name changes for both Maddox and Zahara.
