Anton Tsygankov, an award- winning rock guitar virtuoso and songwriter, has just announced the worldwide release of his groundbreaking debut album titled ANTI-The Anton Tsygankov Project.
To promote the album's message, Tsygankov and his band are touring the Middle East, performing at anti-terrorism rallies in war zones and geopolitical hot spots.
"You can speak a lot about the struggle against terror from a TV or radio," says twenty-six-year-old Anton, "but it's much better if you pack your bags and bring your music to the people who need it more than anybody. That's what makes a difference and that's what ANTI is all about."
ANTI's strong, vibrant funk-rock sound shows the influence of artists like the Foo Fighters, Methods of Mayhem, Tommy Lee, Rooster and Nuno Bettencourt, but Tsygankov's unique musical voice shines through in every track. Layering Russian folk motifs with virtuosic rock guitar and thought-provoking lyrics, Anton Tsygankov's music stands out as the sound of rock to come.
Chuck Register, a Moscow native, provides a raspy, energetic vocal performance that channels the spirit of Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Audioslave's Chris Cornell. Tsygankov co-produced the album with Roman Zaslavsky, a veteran of the Russian music scene who has worked with numerous award-winning artists such as t.A.T.u. and Ivan Kupala.
