New York, October 20, 2005 – We asked Bryan Greenberg, the unknown actor who plays Uma Thurman’s younger man in "Prime", if it was nerve wracking to do the love scenes with such a world class beauty. “No, it was exciting”, he said, smirking. He demurred when someone asked if the two generated any heat on set, but apparently it wasn’t too flammable, since we saw Uma introduce him to her real-life guy, Andre Balazs, at the premiere after party. The food at the party, at Four Seasons Restaurant, was sumptuous, but we’re not sure how much Meryl Streep got to eat, since she spent the evening playing host to a large group of family and friends. Apparently it’s true that "Prime’s" writer/director Ben Younger has been dating "Las Vegas" star Vanessa Marcil, because the two were arm-in-arm at the premiere.
