Ashton Kutcher probably figures if you can't beat them, join them. Instead of letting tabloids and gossip magazines have all the fun writing about his relationship and recent marriage to actress Demi Moore, Kutcher announced he will create a sitcom pilot loosely based on his relationship with Moore.
The sitcom is being produced for the Fox network and is about a younger man who marries an older woman and becomes the stepfather to her children.
None of the parts in the pilot have been cast as of yet and Kutcher has not announced whether or not he intends to star in the pilot as well as produce it.
The 27-year-old actor came to fame for his role in 'That 70's Show' and has since gone on to appear in films like 'Dude, Where's My Car?' He recently married the 42-year-old Moore at a ceremony attended by Moore's ex-husband Bruce Willis and the couple's three children.
Writer Holly Hester, who has previously worked on 'The Drew Carey Show,' has been signed to write the pilot with Kutcher listed among the show's executive producers. There is no word as to what role, if any, Moore will play in the show.
