Los Angeles, October 10 – Not many of the stars of "North Country" turned up for the Hollywood premiere, but Charlize Theron was there despite a hectic week. Theron told us that the previous 24 hours were expecially crazy – her mother, with whom she is very close, got married just the day before, and Theron gave her away. Mom had a good excuse for not attending the premiere: she’s on her honeymoon. Theron plays a miner in "North Country", and the beauty acknowledged her penchant for playing not-so-beautiful people in films, saying that she likes “dirty roles that are real stories.”
We couldn’t help noticing that Amber Heard, who plays the younger version of Theron’s character in the film, uncannily resembles her.
