MAGICFRANK: Renowned Magician Is Taking His 'Magic' into the Classroom and Homes via his DVD Series to Help Build Self-Esteem in Kids

Frank DeMasi, otherwise known as MAGICFRANK, is known by many for his TV and live appearances, but he has also become a role model and mentor to countless kids. As a child Magic Frank was the overweight kid who felt self – conscious and often out of place. He found that doing magic for his friends and classmates was a way to be accepted for who he was, a caring, talented boy who just wanted to be like everyone else. He began learning magic at the age of 6 and he became professional by age 14. He learned as a child that performing magic changed his life in such a positive way and he knew that one of his missions was to help all kids build confidence and self esteem.

“I am proof when I was a kid and I was very self-conscious of my weight and I despised being in front of other kids in school and even in public. Now I teach magic to children of all ages and they learn about believing in themselves, to feel good about who they are and to beat their fear of feeling insecure.

I feel that if children who have a strong sense of self-esteem will grow up as confident and happy adults. They will pass this on to their own children. By helping the children of today we will help the future generations to feel positive about themselves, stated Frank.

MAGICFRANK® is founder, CEO and president of MAGICFRANK’S LESSONS IN MAGIC. He started MAGICFRANK’S LESSONS IN MAGIC on the principle of producing magic how-to videos that offer children a multi-sensory experience. He strived to create videos that give enjoyment and are entertaining. He believes children will be more encouraged to learn while having fun.

MAGICFRANK has more than three decades of practical magic skills and a decade of teaching magic. To date, the celebrated and seasoned magician has performed at over 10,000 events. They include TV appearances, hospitals, pediatric wards, Cerebral Palsy centers, police departments, video and toy stores, personal appearances, national events, but most important are the grade schools.

He is also a member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians and The Society of American Magicians, MAGICFRANK teaches his craft through after-school enrichment programs, private lessons, lectures and through his award-winning video series.
