New York, September 28-30 – Fall is coming, you can smell it in the crisp air. But wait, there’s something else wafting in on those cool September breezes. Let’s see, is that a note of Lavender? Rose? Ah, we’re not “noses”. But it seems everyone smells money in fragrances, and this week saw the launch of three new scents with celebrities attached to them.

While we’d be scared to call a hip-hopper fruity, that’s what Ashanti called herself at the launch party for her fragrance, Precious Jewel. She said she was hands-on in mixing the fruity and floral essences in the recipe. On Friday, Kimora Lee Simmons, dressed in matching leopard-print top and boots, greeted fans at Macy’s where she introduced her new Baby Phat Goddess. Kimora reminded us that she's giving her customers some bling; the perfume bottle has a ring on it that you can remove and wear.

And "Cosby" show cutie Raven Simone is all grown up, and you can smell like her by dabbing on That’s So Raven.
