Los Angeles, March 9 – "Side by Side by Sondheim" may have been the theme of the 13th annual "Night at Sardi’s" Alzheimer’s benefit, but Jennifer Garner did not have Ben Affleck by her side. For some reason, Garner was super clingy with her "Alias" costar Victor Garber - maybe it was nerves, since they both had to sing. Eric McCormack, Megan Mulally, Peter Gallagher, Sharon Lawrence and others also took the stage at the Beverly Hilton shindig. While the suffering of most people affected by Alzheimer’s is a private affair, one guest whose experience with the disease touched us all was former first daughter Patti Davis; her father, Ronald Reagan, who passed away last June, was a victim.
