CHICAGO (June 30, 2005) - Rikki Lee Travolta of the famous entertainment family filmed a cameo appearance this week at the legendary Union League Club of Chicago for the feature film 'Crime
Fiction.'
The feature film from screenwriter Jonathan Ullyot is being directed by Chicago's Will Slocombe and is produced by Graham Ballou and
Jonathan Cowperthwait under the Fire Escape Films banner.
Travolta's name has been a front runner in popularity polls and United Kingdom betting casinos to take over the role of James Bond from departed star Pierce Brosnan.
Named with Orlando Bloom and Christian Bale as one of the sexiest
actors under 30, Travolta's 'Crime Fiction' cameo was filmed in the middle of the night to maintain security.
The film depicts a floundering author's meteoric rise to fame and fortune when he writes a book based on his murder of his successful
girlfriend.
Concurrently filming in Chicago is 'Stranger Than Fiction' starring Will Ferrell under the direction of Marc Foster from a script by Zach
Helm for Mandate Pictures.
Travolta is next contracted to the feature adaptation of the novel 'My Fractured Life' for Port Magee Pictures.
