New York, June 7 – The folks living in those overpriced condos at the Time Warner Center had yet another amenity in the building on Tuesday. The nannies just had to take the kids on an elevator ride down to the Borders bookstore, where Madonna occupied them with an afternoon reading from her new children’s book, "Lotsa de Casha".
And these rich kids are so spoiled that they got antsy, constantly interrupting Madonna with questions, and staring with fascination when a police radio crackled. Actually, the kids may not be bratty; they might have gotten a tad bored because the Material girl droned on for way too long.
Later that evening, Madonna was the center of attention at the book launch party, courtesy of Bergdorf Goodman. Guests included a smattering of celebs like John Leguizamo, Matt Lauer and Rosie O’Donnell, fashion designers Donna Karan, Zac Posen and Cynthia Rowley, lots of kids and some creature from "Lotsa de Casha".
