Actor Christian Slater is in trouble with the law yet again. Tuesday night, Slater was arrested for allegedly squeezing the butt of a 52-year-old woman on New York City's Upper East Side. According to police, the incident took place shortly after Slater exited a cab at Second Avenue and 93rd Street.
Slater, 35, is presently starring in 'The Glass Menagerie' on Broadway. He was arrested minutes later by police after he had gotten one block away from the site of the incident. The alleged victim did not know who had groped her according to police.
As Slater was being taken away in handcuffs, he yelled repeatedly 'This is bull----!' according to a report published by the 'New York Daily News.' He then yelled, 'I didn't do anything! I'm suing you! I'm suing the Police Department! I'm suing everybody!'
The actor was later charged with sexual abuse and forcible touching. Both charges are misdemeanors and Slater faces up to one year in jail if convicted.
Despite the incident, Slater still managed to perform Tuesday night. He managed to joke about the incident during the show, pinching the air in a scene in which he is supposed to be drunk.
This is just the latest in a series of legal problems for Slater. He has been arrested in the past for illegal weapons possession and for allegedly physically attacking his then girlfriend and for driving while intoxicated among other incidents.
Slater has been appearing in 'The Glass Menagerie' since February.
