San Diego, CA, June 17 - How do you get big Hollywood stars like Jamie Foxx and Jessica Biel to sleepy San Diego? Fly them there on an F-18 fighter plane, of course. The premiere of the movie "Stealth" was at Naval Air Station North Island, on Coronado island in San Diego bay, and even though the stars emerged from a fighter plane, we're pretty sure they were placed inside after the skydiving stunts, and taxied over to the red carpet for a dramatic entrance. Foxx, Biel, and hunky Josh Lucas stepped out of the plane wearing khaki flight suits, and then changed into street clothes. Anyway, while we can't solve the mystery of whether the celebs were really allowed onboard the military transport, we can verify that, despite being taxpayers, our request for a ride back to L.A. on the F-18 was denied. Ignored, actually.
