Forehead Advertising is Nothing New

A 20-year-old Nebraska native said that will have a logo tattooed to his face. Andrew Fisher is leasing space on his forehead for advertising in an attempt to pay for his college bill. Mr. Fisher said that he will have a temporary tattoo placed on his face for 30 days. If you enjoy placing logos on peoples faces for 30 days you can bid on this auction on eBay, but to break the bad news to you that this is not something new.

Fisher has been quoted saying that "Their company is going to get their name out in a way they definitely weren't thinking about getting it out last week.” Toyota’s Scion and other companies have already thought of this. Last year Scion had 40 people with logos on their forehead walk around Times Square to promote Toyota's newest Scion, the tC coupe. The idea of getting logoed to pay for your college tuition is nothing new either. “Chris and Luke” the first corporate sponsored college students successfully wore logos to pay for their college tuition. “Chris and Luke” were spokespeople for First USA which was part of BankOne. You can currently see “Chris and Luke” in the Sundance award winning film “The Corporation”.

Did Mr. Fisher go drive his Scion to see The Corporation a few months when he got this idea?
