Since 1979, Mercy Corps has provided more than $820 million in assistance in 80 nations. Over 90 percent of the agency’s resources are allocated directly to programs that help those in need.

Mercy Corps mounted an immediate response to the Southeast Asia earthquake and tsunami and now has its emergency team on the ground, assessing damage and beginning a lifesaving response. In Indonesia's decimated Aceh province, the organization's distribution of life-saving aid is reaching more than 100,000 people. Current efforts are centered around three countries: India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. For more information, visit www.mercycorps.org.
