CBS to Make TV Movie About Amber Frey Book

It didn't take long, that's for sure. CBS has announced it will make a television movie based on Amber Frey's new book about the Laci Peterson murder case. The book was just published this week.

Frey, a message therapist from Fresno, California, gained notoriety for being the mistress of Scott Peterson who was later convicted of murdering his wife Laci and the couple's fetus. Peterson was been sentenced to death by a California jury last month.

'Having the rights to her life story, as well as her book, provides an opportunity to tell new dimensions of the story and give viewers a personal look into one of the most notorious crimes of the past decade,' said Bela Bajaria, a CBS senior vice president.

No air date for the film has been announced as of yet.
