Earlier this week, Jennifer Garner's publicist, Nicole King, reported that the Alias star was suffering from a viral infection. Apparently, this was not the whole truth. Yesterday, King told Entertainment Tonight that Garner is actually recovering from nerve damage to her back, which is the result of an injury that she incurred while filming an Alias episode.
In her latest statement, King announced that Garner would most likely not be well enough to attend the premiere of her latest film Elektra this Saturday in Las Vegas. However, she is expected to be on hand at the Golden Globes on January 16. Garner has been nominated in the category of Best Actress in a TV Drama for Alias.
There is no word as to whether or not doctors feel that this nerve damage is permanent. The fourth season of Alias kicked off on Wednesday.
