A woman who claimed that hip hop artist Snoop Dogg, and four of his associates drugged her and raped her after the rapper appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' has agreed to drop her lawsuit. She was initially seeking $25 million in punitive damages.
Kylie Bell, a makeup artist who Snoop Dogg requested to work on him before the taping of the show, says that the matter 'has been resolved amicably.'
A spokeswoman for the rapper says that he paid 'absolutely no money' to the woman as part of the settlement.
The lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice, meaning it cannot be re-filed.
As part of the agreement, Snoop Dogg, aka Calvin Broadus, is dropping his $5 million counter suit that claimed that the woman was attempting to extort money from him.
No criminal charges were ever filed in the matter.
