Martha Stewart's house arrest has been extended by an additional three weeks after the domestic diva allegedly violated the terms of her home confinement by going to a yoga class and driving around her estate in an off-road vehicle.
Her attorney, Walter Delligner released a statement indicating that Stewart, 'has agreed to an extension of the terms of her home confinement until August 31.'
The original date for the end of Stewart's house arrest was August 10. The electronic monitoring device will remain on her ankle now until the end of this month.
Stewart has described her home confinement as being more difficult than the time she spent in a West Virginia prison camp. At present, she is allowed out of her home for 48 hours per week for work, food shopping, doctor's appointments and religious services.
This fall, Stewart is scheduled to star in two new television shows, a daytime lifestyle program and a spin-off of Donald Trump's show, 'The Apprentice.'
