Los Angeles, April 15 – Michael Douglas still had the scraggly beard, but otherwise presented a remarkably fresh face for air-kisses at the Global Green USA Awards on Friday. And it was a truly global crowd that rallied for former Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev’s clean-water initiative, with Australian "Finding Neverland" actress Radha Miitchell, Irishman Pierce Brosnan as well as Yanks Douglas and Glenn Close. Gorbachev will soon address the U.N. to call for an international treaty guaranteeing access to clean water; folks at the Global Green bash in Beverly Hills signed a petition supporting him.
