VH1 Saves the Music

New York, April 11 – We were so tied up following Mariah Carey around town on Tuesday that we didn’t have time to tell you about Monday night’s VH1 'Save the Music' concert. The concert featured Joss Stone, Alicia Keys and Rod Stewart. Star Jones and hubby Al Reynolds, Christina Applegate and David Duchovny were in the audience. The concert was expected to be even more star-studded, but Mariah Carey backed out, claiming vocal strain and early-next-morning appearances, and Lindsay Lohan was absent due to work commitments. You’ll be able to see a seamless version of the show, including pre and post-concert recordings, on VH1, Sunday, April 17.
