A woman who was employed by Michael Jackson as a maid testified that she found the self proclaimed 'King of Pop' in the shower with a young boy who often slept in Jackson's bed. The woman said the boy was approximately eight years old.
This witness is the mother of the now 24-year-old man who testified earlier that Jackson molested him on three separate occasions starting in 1990 when he was seven years old.
The former maid testified that one day she heard noise coming from Jackson's bedroom so she used the key and entered. She said she heard 'laughing, playing — like playing around. First I thought they were playing in bathtub or Jacuzzi or outside in his garden and I walked in and they were in the shower,' she said, adding
later, 'I peak in and they were in shower.'
She also testified that former child actor Macaulay Culkin often visited Neverland and slept in Jackson's bedroom as well.
Jackson's defense attorneys put the previous witness, one of Jackson's alleged victims and the son of the former maid, through a vigorous cross examination. They brought out that at first, he denied being molested by Jackson and tried to insinuate that the police almost forced him to make up a story to get Jackson.
The testimony of these witnesses is presented by the prosecution to show a pattern of improper behavior between Jackson and young boys over a long period of time. The maid's son got a settlement worth a reported $2.4 million from Jackson in 1994.
