NYC Fashion Week: Celebrities flock Jeremy Scott’s ‘Knight Life’
West coast fashion designer Jeremy Scott brought out his thug-line filled with black and white hooded capes, bandana print pants, and tiny chain bikini’s. The models were tattooed with words such as Kill and Die, and the collection had many images of guns, swords, and bullets.
Celebrities flocked to this over-filled-jam-packed show in the tent at Bryant Park. Rapper Lil’ Kim sat in the front row and showed no emotion, to the thug-lifestyle collection. Film Producers Chris Barrett and Matt Semino were also front and center at the show. Semino told ETV, “[Jeremy Scott’s] designs are what fashion week is about.” Not everyone in the audience had the same opinion, one of the onlookers said, “Who would want to wear any of Jeremy’s designs they are just not practical.”
Scott shocked celebrities and attendee’s during his 2004 fall collection when he had a group of cheerleaders dance around in his athletic line, and finished with a cheer. That was the fashion show, audiences got up confused and left.
Saturday’s show was a huge success for Jeremy, the night ended at the Tribecca Grand Hotel with a huge after party with hundreds of his closest friends. Look out for Jeremy’s designs at all of the upcoming awards shows on some of the worlds sexiest and hottest celebrities.
