Former FRIENDS star MATT LeBLANC has picked up an unusual talent from his grandfather - the ability to whistle while exhaling and inhaling.

LeBlanc, whose new sitcom JOEY debuted in America tonight, picked up the talent after spending many road trips with his relative, and it has now become one of his prized party tricks.

He says, 'We used to go camping on weeks off, and in the car he would always whistle. He was really good at it so I kinda picked it up.

'He taught me this one thing that was pretty cool. He could whistle when he exhaled like normal, but he could also whistle when he inhaled, so he would never have to take a pause when he was (whistling).'
