With every other Marvel property getting their film, it was almost surprising that this one was still waiting for someone to wake up. But after many delays and speculations, Tony Stark and his alter ego finally have a helmer to get things going.
New Line Cinema and Marvel Studios announced Nick Cassavetes, son of legendary director/actor John, to handle to metallic hero. Although Nick is currently filming "Alpha Dog" (about infamous FBI Most Wanted Jesse James Hollywood), the studio intends to start the casting machine right away, and get things going for an early 2006 release.
Just in case, Iron Man follows the exploits of Billionaire Anthony Stark, who creates himself an invicible body armour in order to fight crime. Think Batman, but you know, without the ears…
