The Disney Channel has given the go ahead for a TV show adaptation of the 2001 animated feature "the Emperor's New Groove", which starred David Spade and John Goodman.
The new show will be launched in 2006, once Disney's upcoming Direct-to-video sequel 'Emperor's New Groove II' has been released.
For both new incarnations, only Pat Warburton, Eartha Kitt and Wendy Malick are signed on to come back, signalling a new lead character to replace no-longer-llama Kuzco.
No more specific is known about storylines and complete cast. The initial order is for 21 original episodes.
