Director Brett Leonard has signed on o direct the fifth Highlander feature, according to Movie Hole. Leonard might be familiar to Sci-Fi fans. He previously handled 'Lawnmower Man' and 'Virtuosity' among others. He's also just completed work on Marvel's 'Man-Thing', which may one day get released.

Entitled 'Highlander: The Source', the next adventure will cast four new immortals, without either Christophe Lambert or Adrian Paul. The story would follow the four herooes on a quest for their world's equivalent of the Holy Grail.

No more details have been revealed yet, but since it's part of the Highlander franchise, you can count on it to contradict everything established in the previous chapters.
