Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, best known for her work in 'Party of Five', has been signed by ABC to work in an as of yet untitled sitcom. The project had originally been scheduled for development last season but was taken off ABC's agenda until now. The network has reportedly ordered six episodes.

The show will be about a sports producer, played by Hewitt, who suddenly and unintentionally becomes an on-air personality. Ed O'Neill will play the executive producer of the show and will co-star with Hewitt.

No air date has been set for the show at this time.
