Paramount Pictures will join MTV Productions to adapt author Jake Coburn's debut novel called 'Prep'.

Set in the Big Apple's subculture, the story centres on a prep school student who gets a taste of the wild life, and gets thrown in a world of drug abuse, violence, and sex.
Author Coburn himself attended several New York prep schools.

No director or star has been attached yet. Chris Bender and JC Spink will receive Executive Producers credit, under their BenderSpink banner.
