After writing four Potter screenplays, scribe Steven Kloves is stepping down for the fifth chapter, 'Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix'.
ComingSoon.net got word from producer David Heyman that Kloves is eager to to get back to directing. He's already planning a feature adaptation of Mark Haddon's bestseller 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time', also to be produced by Heyman.
Screenwriter Michael Goldberg, whose previous credits include Contact and the recent live-action Peter Pan, will write 'Order Of The Phoenix' in collaboration with Heyman, for novelist J.K. Rowling's final approval.
Production for #5 should begin early 2006, for a Summer '07 release. The only actor already guaranteed to appear is Jason Isaacs, as Lucius Malfoy.
In related news, Gollum and Jar Jar Binks are rumored to be fighting for the role of Dobby. The little elf is apparently asking an unreasonable salary increase.
