One week after revealing plans for a sequel to the surprise Halloween hit 'Saw' - which has now generated $36M at the Box Office vs a $1M budget - Lions Gate and production house Twisted Pictures announced a bigger commitment with each other, yesterday.
Lions Gate's president of acquisitions, Peter Block, told Hollywood Reporter both companies made a pact for 9 more movies together. Twisted would finance and produce, leaving distribution to Lions Gate.
No specific projects have been pinpointed, but judging solely by the name Twisted, the deal might concern films of the nerve-racking kind…
